    Comfort 8 days - Private rooms  
    This itinerary allows you to walk the tour of Mont Blanc in Comfort in only 8 days, i.e. you will always have a private room. The bathroom may have to be shared in some accommodation. This is a guided tour while allowing you to discover the Tour of Mont Blanc within a week period, in all safety and in the company of fellow walkers, with an experienced English speaking mountain guide.

     
    Day 1: Chamonix

    Day 2: Val Montjoie: +570m/-1200m - 5hrs 30 min

    Day 3: Beaufortin: +1270m/-930m - 7hrs

    Day 4: Val Veny: +720m/-840m - 6hrs

    Day 5: Val d?Arpette: +770m/-550m - 5hrs

    Day 6: Vallée de Trient: +700m/-760m - 5hrs

    Day 7: Vallée de Chamonix: +910m/-800m - 5hrs 30 min

    Day 8: Chamonix

     


    Day 1: ChamonixLocated in the French Alps, Chamonix offers a true French European mountain experience with stunning hiking, old Savoyard culture and of course unforgettable views. Towering above Chamonix, Mont-Blanc is the tallest mountain in Europe reaching 4810m, 15,781ft. The views will blow you away.

     

    Day 2: Val Montjoie: +570m/-1200m - 5hrs 30 minFrom the Bellevue cable car the panoramic view of the Mont-Blanc massif, the Aiguilles Rouges, the Fiz and Aravis mountain ranges is simply stunning. We leave the Chamonix valley in the direction of Les Contamines.

     

    Day 3: Beaufortin: +1270m/-930m - 7hrsDeparture is from Notre Dame de la Gorge with its romantic Baroque church. At the Col du Bonhomme we leave Val Montjoie behind and head for Beaufortin which will lead us to the most southerly point of the Mont- Blanc massif and the hidden valley of Les Chapieux.

     

    Day 4: Val Veny: +720m/-840m - 6hrsWe head north east and cross the French/Italian border where we will discover the breathtaking rock faces and ice-covered summits of the south side of the Mont-Blanc mountain range.

     

    Day 5: Val d?Arpette: +770m/-850m - 5hrsWe will cross the Italian/Swiss border late morning to find the peaceful setting of Swiss Alpine meadows and snow-covered peaks in the distance. We will end the day with a short transfer to Lac Champex and will spend the night at the Relais d?Arpette mountain chalet.

     

    Day 6: Vallée de Trient: +700m/-760m - 5hrsWe will pass from the Champex valley to the Trient valley. The hike will take us to the alpage de Bovine where we will be able to view the Rhone valley and its vineyards, the peaks of the Bernese Oberland and the steep summits of the Combin massif.

     

     Day 7: Vallée de Chamonix: +910m/-800m - 5hrs 30 minA final hike up will take us to the Swiss/French frontier from where we can view Mont-Blanc in all its splendour. This fantastic décor will accompany us all afternoon as we make our way down to Chamonix.

     

    Day 8: ChamonixWe can arrange extra nights anywhere on the itinerary after your last walking day. We can also arrange station/airport transfer. Please get in touch: info@onefootabroad.com for more info .
