Camino Tours Testimonials and Stories
"The gorgeous guys Umberto and Alberto from Dublin-based Follow the Camino have been absolutely superb in organising this trip and minding us along the way, and they made everything so easy and smooth. They were so kind and sensitive in dealing with a liability like me as well. They organise individual and guided trips to the Camino and other places and are really helpful and professional." Andrea Smith (Irish Independent Journalist) walked for the RISE Foundation
Follow The Camino did a fantastic job organising our main 2013 fund raising trip to the Camino de Santiago. The organisation was of excellent quality and all of our 28 travellers had a great time.
Umberto and his team have been of great help during the organisation of the trip. He has been very helpful and flexible during the trip supporting us all with our guide Maria Jesus. He helped make this trip special and something that we will definitely do again,as it really helped raise awareness and funds for The Rise Foundation.

To maintain existing essential and vital services for our members we need to raise a minimum of €2,000,000 annually. We found that once the Camino was mentioned, feedback was tremendous. We targeted 30 people and we had 36! Follow the Camino helped us make it a success organisation-wise, trip-wise and fundraising-wise.

We have been running fundraising trips along the Camino de Santiago with Follow the Camino for the past three years in a row and we are always delighted with the service we receive. Using Follow the Camino means we can concentrate on vital fundraising instead of organising. Each year they go the extra mile to customise our experience down to the smallest detail: early breakfast, special menus, extra nights at arrival in Santiago… Can’t wait for next year!

I would just like to thank you on behalf of our group for a marvellous experience on our recent Follow the Camino break. Everything ran very smoothly - even the baggage transfers which I have to admit we were a little dubious about at the start! All hotel staff were very friendly and made us feel very comfortable (we especially liked the little apartment in Rua and the lovely traditional food - even if some people nearly died when they realized they had eaten octopus!
