Camino de Santiago de Compostela | Follow The Camino

Individual (1-5 people)

Why go on one of our Walking or Cycling holidays?

The Camino de Santiago or St James’ Way is a 1000 years old pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela in the North-West of Spain where the remains of the Apostle Saint James are said to be buried. Traditionally it started from wherever the pilgrim lived and Scallop Shells (Symbol of the Camino) directing the Way could be found all over Europe.

Thanks to recent movie releases and novels some routes like the French Way have become more popular than other. However there isn’t one better route as they all offer different landscapes, cultures, gastronomy, starting points and duration (3 to 60+ days).

Choosing and planning is time consuming and complex, this is why we are here to do all the hard work for you, organising and booking everything, so you can enjoy the perfect holiday on the Camino de Santiago:

Booking your Accommodation

Worried about not finding a decent place to sleep each night or don’t want to research each hotel individually?

We can’t recommend this company highly enough. The staff were always helpful friendly and knowledgeable and the organisation flawless. The accommodation was comfortable, and without exception the staff were welcoming and obliging. The holiday was a great experience – a wonderful way to see Galicia and we can’t wait to book again to walk another section of the Camino.”

John and Rachel - April 2012- England

This is probably the first time in a while that I can honestly say on finishing a trip that I had nothing to complain about! The organisation of all aspects were superb from taxi pick up at the airport to accommodation and meals to luggage transfer. Many thanks to all of the Follow the Camino crew.”

Jacinta O'Reilly and party - September 2011- Dublin, Ireland
