The Route enjoyed widespread fame throughout medieval Europe. Traditionally English/Irish pilgrims arrived by sea at Ferrol. The way starts following the rugged hilly coast line, then moving inland to the lush wooded country side.
At each stage, you are guaranteed a great level
of comfort and gastronomy. The walk
requires a good physical condition. However, it’s a highly
rewarding walk including numerous great cultural highlights. |
