The French Way is the most traditional of all the pilgrims' ways to Santiago and the best known internationally.
7th section of the Camino Frances. Starting in the mountain-hugging town of Ponferrada finishing in Sarria, a bustling market town. The Camino crosses the magnificent O’Cebreiro Mountains, with rich Celtic roots, and winds down to a more gentle terrain.
At each stage, you are guaranteed a great level
of comfort and gastronomy. The trail marking is extremely well done
with the “Scallop Shell” showing you the way. The walk
requires a good physical condition. However, it’s a highly
rewarding walk including numerous great cultural highlights. |

the most beautiful and challenging as you will have to ascend 1000m.
You will pass through the narrow valley of the river Valcace before
