The French Way is the most traditional of all the pilgrims' ways to Santiago and the best known internationally.
2nd section of the Camino Frances. Starting in Pamplona, famous for its Bull run festival. Finishing in Logrono at the centre of the famous Rioja Wine region. An attractive hike in hilly Navarra, 12th C. castles, picturesque villages, and vineyards.
At each stage, you are guaranteed a great level
of comfort and gastronomy. The trail marking is extremely well done,
with the “Scallop Shell” showing you the way. The walk
requires a good physical condition. However, it’s a highly
rewarding walk including numerous great cultural highlights. |
