Camino Rustic

The Camino Rustic, is a part of the Camino where the accommodations have been carefully selected. The route you take is the usual route. The difference is the type of accommodation: the best way of doing the Way...It also gives you a chance to be closer to nature and make your journey to Saint-James even more authentic."

On the Camino Rustic, accommodations are guesthouses of character, renovated by proud hosts ready to give you a personal and warm welcome. The guesthouse is often an historical or old building built in stone or granite. Some have a swimming pool and a relaxing garden. Our selected accomodations gain in character and peace of mind and therefore guesthouses are often out of town (2-10km) with a reduced access to town centre.

The general standard of comfort throughout is significantly higher than the soulless hotel in a middle sized town, with en-suite rooms. The interior is tastefully decorated, with appearing beams and original furniture.

The dinner is served with the hosts, sometimes at their own table. This will enable precious contacts with them and other guests. Dishes are traditional, cooked with regional and fresh products, typical of the area.
